Can't make it for opening day but plan on a visit in June. I can carry some items back there if you like, something smaller than a car!

Depends on what you mean smaller than a car? We have stuff to go, trying to arrange a rental truck to haul if but would like it there before the grand opening.

It is just like anything else in this Grand Country of ours...I wish they could move The Alamo to within conservitive driving distance to Walla Walla...then there is Getteysburg Battlefield...the National Archives...can't forget about the Ford Archives...Oh heck...just move all of them closer to Walla Walla and I will be fine!

Oh well...I guess I will "See the USA in my Model A" (sorry Chevrolet)! Now that would be "A" trip worth remembering!

When you live in Alaska, nothing is close, or convenient. The closest I'll get this summer is Branson MO, and I'm not taking my puckup!

Henry Ford kind of did that. Remember Greenfield Village? But that was for us Michiganders.

When most people see the setting and surrounding with other marques on display you may be able to the rational behind the decision to locate it there. Also the Ford Motor Company is located about 100 miles from the Model A Museum.
