Default the beginning of the end of a fan

I removed a fan from a friend's car this afternoon. Note the paint cracked off the front top edge and inside lower edge from stress and metal fatigue. Also note the delaminating steel seam. How much longer do you think it would it have lasted??

About as long as the radiator and hood. It is good To look things over carefully and often.
