Plug Wire Metal Tubes
Guys,
I'm rebuilding my Dads 41 flathead. The distributer is the 37-41 style with the 37-41 caps and rubber boots. I must be missing the metal tubes that run from the rubber boots up along the heads where the plug wires come out. I had an old set off my 35 Ford and they don't even come close to fitting the 41 as the heads are configured differently. Are there plug wire tubes for just 37-41 engines? I was also considering running without the metal tubes but I was afraid of water getting into the distributer without them. Need help. Thanks much, Peder |

Re: Plug Wire Metal Tubes
Get the right setup. they will appear. I don't have a spare, but I'm sure someone will.

Re: Plug Wire Metal Tubes
I see them on the auction site quite often but be careful as most sellers haven't a clue what they fit.If I see some I will send you the link.

Peder: I have a set off of a Merc 99A that are the same I think. They'll need a little TLC but you can have them for the cost of shipping. Send me a message if interested and we'll work out the details. Thanks, Tim |
