Default 1946 FORD Super Deluxe rear tail light issues

Hello Everyone!

Confronting issues on the right side;Short light running at stop light in the bulb,looks the socket and light. Rear light sockets not the same? 12V .Some one are familiar w the right wiring ?

The wires for the tail/brake lights are: Tail wire is Black, the Brake wire is Green.
The light bulb has offset pins that match the socket, so the bulb can only go in one way.

Up through at least 1940 the tail light pins were straight across and you can put the bulb in backwards. The offset pin was an improvement, but I don't know when it happened. I remember dad's 40 sedan had one factory tail light socket with straight pins and one replaced socket with offset pins. When did the offset pin socket and bulbs first get used by Ford?

I believe I read that it was a running change during 1940.

According to my Ford parts book, the change in socket pin orientation started for the 42 - 48 model years. The Group No. for the part is 13410.
This pic is of a NOS unit.
