Question 1932 frame horn covers

I bought a pair of 32 rear frame horn covers from a gentleman who claims they are original. They are in perfect condition. They do not have the wire hole on either side below the two bumper iron/taillight bracket holes. As you look at them from the side the seam (vertical) in the bumper iron mount area is in line with the curved pinch weld seam and it is bead welded. I have noticed on originals that this seam area is offset to the rear approximately 3/16 inch. The curved pinch weld area also has spot welds showing on the inside. Is there any way to verify original verses repro?
