Default 1/2 - 20 repair fitting

I need a source or pt # for the repair fittings that I find in core carbs that
find their way into my stash. The male end has 1/2-20 threads and seals with a gasket against the inlet . The female end accepts 1/4 tube , ferrule and

1/2-20 Ford nut. I use these fittings to salvage 94 air horns where the ferrule seat is no longer concentric enough to be leak proof. I'm running low !

Charlie, is this what you need? I’m not sure if the inlet side of this one is made for a Fordnut or flared line. Worth a look.

HB,
I'll give mike a jingle and see if he has them for Ford nut....the inlet on the one
in photo is for flared.
Thanks,
Charlie

The ones Mike's Carburetor has are also for a 5/16" line and not 1/4".

I am thinking that Max had (or has) this sort of stuff. Try Max?

Post #2 seems to have what I think you are asking.

Charlie I deleted my comment as I had a solution that had apparently dried up… I have none. Check with James at Gotham auto parts.

What would it take to take one of the available flair fittings and remachine the seat to take a 1/4 pipe ferrule?

If there was a way to do that, there would be a way to repair the seats in the carburetors and fuel pumps as well.

Weatherhead went to Eaton. They may have manufactured stuff like that back in the day. A person would have to an old catalog to find out. If there is a part number then a person may be able to find them.

Mart,
I'm working on it now...to keep 100% concentricity between the seat and threads
is more than plunging a countersink into the flare contour.
