Default Edmunds Custom 2 x2 intake manifold

Recently purchased the intake for my stock 1937 221. I'm not sure the best carbs to use with this manifold. Any suggestions? In searching the forum, I see mention of 48, 94 and 97's. I have a big logo 97 and although the bolt holes match up, the base on the 97 is larger than the base on the manifold. I'm not sure if that matters.

It all comes down to the amount of knowledge/skills you have in working with carbs, the "look" you want, the money you have to spend, etc.. Personally, I like the new Stromberg 97's from Clive -- they are actually BETTER than the originals, are easy to tune and are a top-notch reproduction. They're not cheap, but what is there days!
