Default Model A birthday present

I got this 1931 Deluxe Coupe on my birthday
in February 2012. The former owner (Charley)died over a year
before.
and his nephew was selling the car.
Charley had done allot of the work on the car which
should make it easy to finish. Right now the car has been painted
and i'm waiting for the upholstery from Lebaron Bonney.
this car has a trunk which I like
will show pictures later of completed car

Very nice birthday present. Make sure his nephew gets a chance to see the final product.

I purchased my 29 coupe in May 2011. My wife informed me that it was my birthday present for the rest of my life! Still a nice present.

I didn't need too, Charley had already done that.
He redid the trans, rear and motor.
Before painting I hooked up everything and the car
ran great. The paint came with the car but I had the black paint
not going to put on fenders until roof is put on.

Very nice. Isn't amazing what a good paint job will do! Glad to hear you are keeping the trunk. You won't regret that decision.

Very cool to restore base on how the previous owner wanted it to be presented. It's looking really good, as I've stated before, got mine in feb too, and have not had time to pull it out of the garage. You are making great progress, can't wait to see it finished

My 30 coupe has same paint job except window reveals are lower body colour.Yours looks great & a trunk is much more practical than a R S.
