Yes, those were the best days. (Highschool 1957-61)
I thought they'd never end. Sadly, they did Then came the 60's, Vietnam and later decades as it it all went downhill. |

Re: Best of times --
Great video, sure brings back a lot of memories. I was born in '51 & had an older sis and brother so got to live a lot of what they did when I was a youngster. The late 50s, early & mid 60s were best of times. But yeah then adulthood and reality hit. Outta high school, into the service, marriage, kids. . . Can't say it all went downhill. But oh those mid 60s!

Re: Best of times --
Born in '51. I was in Jr. High when the British invasion hit. The summer of '69 after I graduated was a great time. Moving forward to '71 when I got drafted things took on a different direction. But all in all things are pretty good now. Thanks for the video.

And this - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069704/ Cars were it. The kid across the street had a new 57 CHEV and next door kid (teenager) had a 57 FORD. Another had a 56 PLY. GOOD TIMES ... And yes the VIETNAM ERA killed it all.
