Question window adhesive?

I am putting a new window in a 1931 truck. I have a new window and new window channel. What type of adhesive is used to secure the window in the new channel?

Yes, use glass setting tape instead of adhesive!
1) you can roll the window up and down right away without having to wait for the adhesive to cure.
2) Replacing the glass in the future is much easier with the tape. You or your glass shop will thank you.
