Default Car Show....CT

All Model A and T show at Beardsley Cider Mill, Sharon, CT tomorrow , 9-?

Food truck, bathrooms.

I'll be there in my 40 for a while with a few shirts (cheap) and a couple of models(also reasonable, one a 31 Tudor, another a 57 NoMad).

Wish the forecast was better:

A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 57. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Still looking for 30-31 Tudor /Truck doors with savable tops. Bottoms can be rusted or damaged up to the glass, just need the area above the top hinge. I'll bring a hacksaw. Will bring a few boxes of odds & ends. Bob

I think the address above is incorrect. It says Sharon, CT. Shouldn't it say Shelton, CT?

Sorry about the town mix up. Nice turn out, TWO Town cars! I sold most of what I brought, all the shirts.
Good day til it started to sprinkle a bit and I left.

Perfect day! Thanks to the Beardsley family for hosting another event, so much like the ones we used to have back in the 1960's. Found some needed parts and the stuff I sold covered the cost. See you all again next year.

I was going to go but it rained all day here in NY. I wanted to check out the Model T's. I am interested in buying one for my daughter for her 16th birthday. It is sort of a standing joke. When someone asks her what her first car was - she's going say a Model T and they are going to look at her twice and laugh. At least I'll know she won't get any speeding tickets.

no speeding tickets- but certainly easy to get rear ended when only going 35 mph.

I bought my first car on my 16th birthday, a 1926 Tudor delivered for $220.00 back on New Years Day 1967. Buy your daughter one that runs. Bob

My daughter can rightly say that a Model A is the first car she drove. She was 11 years old. When she got to high school, the first car that was truly hers was a 1974 VW Beetle. Not bad for a kid born in 1999. Not many of her peers can say something like that.
