Default Looking for tips on installing clutch release fork

I need to install the clutch release shaft and fork in my aluminum bellhousing adapter. I plan to heat the fork and cool the shaft but I am looking for tips on how to actually assemble it.

Thanks
-Don

schould not be nessery to heat if your talking about 32-48 shaft & fork it schould be a slide fit without heat then a pin goes through the fork. some guys use a grade 8 bolt

Richard is exactly correct. Bushings may need reaming/honing to fit. You may also want to add Zerk fittings to the bushing areas so you can later grease them.

Thanks Guys. I must have some Chinese parts that don't want to cooperate. I heated the fork up but it stuck solid on the shaft after about 1 1/2 inches. Before I heated it, it would *barely* start.
