C69A is Canadian manufactured just prior to release of the 8BA series, but has the cast bell housing as in all earlier engines. Incorporates the 8BA valve assemblies, has lock in big end shells that are not the same as 8BA. Full floaters are of the same dimensions and can be used with that crank and rods. The BEST feature of these 69A's is their immensely thick cylinder walls which allow boring them Big! They only have hardened exhaust valve inserts, inlets seat direct onto cast iron block material, this allows one to open up the inlet valves considerably to suit the big bore. Brian
