Default Temperature sender

I am about to install a temperature sender in an aluminum head. The instructions say not to use Teflon tape because it could affect accuracy. Would anti-seize be OK? I’m concerned about the threads on removal if needed. Thanks, Dave

The issue is the sender is a ground path for the gauge. The unit must have a good ground to the head to function, so any sealant much be conductive.

I use just a tiny dab of anti seize. I had to make an adapter because the length of the sender bottomed out in the alum head. You probably won't have this problem.
