Default 1934 Muffler

I have an original 34 muffler that's in good solid shape except for the metal cover in the center, I'd like to replace the cover if possible and am wondering if anyone has done that before that could help me out. Any help appreciated, Bob

The center sections of NOS mufflers are often dented from knocking around in parts departments and we wrap them in new sheet metal from end to end without removing the original sheet metal. Done carefully, you can't perceive the covering.
