Default What model ford is this.

Ok you experts. What model of ford is this? It is in Ireland, so it may have been made there. It has the flat head 4 cylinder and the alternator is on top. Sharp looking.

Yes it's a model Y. It's between half and three quarters of a full sized Ford. Engine would probably have enough power to run a good sized pocket watch.

Where's the water pump?

EDIT NOTE: Found the answer: "no water pump relying on thermo-syphon circulation"

And I believe it a a 1932, first of its race. After '32 they got a bumper with a center dip like '33-4 Fords. Histories seem to indicate that this series influenced the development of the '33 American Fords, not the other way around.

I saw one of those at the British Invasion in Stowe VT a few years ago. That is a weekend British Car Show and event. The model Y was displayed by a guy who had bought it in Britain many years ago, and had is shipped here when he returned. I would LOVE to have one of those. (he would not sell, naturally)
