Default wind lace

I am reinstalling the windlace, in my 31 S/W 4 dr.
the interior headers hang below the door opening and thus put the bulb of the windlace out in the air.
Question: the covered headers should be (below) or (right on) the door opening. It is a almost new Le Boner interior.
hope photos will assist in answers.
First time I did it my way and was not pretty.

Yes but joint. the tubing is cut to length while the material is left long, so it can be tucked in. The photo is from my 28 tudor

160 B is correct; have seen other original SW's, and mine is exactly like his. If I understand your question, the windlace hangs below the door head to seal against the frame and there is no windlace between the meeting door post pillar and the top of door horiz. strips.

If not too much bother, would you send me the dimension to locate the pouch from the top of the seat to the pouch? I have 4 sheet metal screws and 2 snaps to mount to the seat back. I can't seem to post a photo on the pm message board .
Many thanks, duke, N. Cal.
this should help

Well I went and looked at the car and I guess I would call the "two gray dots" mystery dots, as they are not there. Might have been some reflective light off the inside window.

See attached photo.

PS as to the spelling of grey, or gray. I looked on the internet and they are both correct with the following, explanation:
When all else fails...
grAy is how it's spelled in America
grEy is how it's spelled in England

we learn every day!!
