Default Adult Viewing- Naked Lady

Started stripping her of the old paint, gone over with 120 grit, 230 next etc., no rust, a few battle scars, would love to know the history, what tales she could tale. Doing it by hand on my own, by the time I`ve finished will know every inch of the old girl..................................

Very disappointed...at my age I usually have to pay to see a naked lady and here I thought I was going to see one for free!!!!!

What is the assembly plant code?

What is the engine number?

What is the frame number? If an when you removde the body to check it out!

I did try to get some info, I bought a Multi-State Vehicle History Report, all the categories came up with "No brand reported", the current title information showed- State=Texas, vin=A3923014, issue date=04/29/1998. My paperwork shows the same vin number and the engine number as 3014 but the place on the engine where the number should be is blank. I`m not taking the body off, where might I find the assembly plant code ?

You probably have a B engine in there. It's easy to tell a B from an A. The B engine has no oil return pipe on the RHS of the motor and a taller side cover. Also a "squarer" rear end on the sump. The numbers on a B engined car were on a boss on the flywheel housing just above the starter motor. If you have an A transmission, the housing will have been changed so you may have a blank slate on which you can create your own "masterpiece", as I did. Stamps are available with the star to help with that. I stamped the engine and put the same number on the chassis just in front of the firewall but from what I have read about the US system, that may not be the way to go over there. Seems they have no tolerance or sympathy for the owner's dilemma.

Definitely an A engine Synchro, I`m in England by the way, prob too much to expect to find any history but would have been nice,
