Default Rear fender install

Hi gents-

how are the nuts, bolts, and washers installed on my "48 ford rear fender? Is the flat washer and bolt pushed up from the
wheel well?

Yes. Flat washer, lock washer and hex bolt from the outside - inward.

The "nuts" are actually special clips integral of the body. And, if I recall correctly, the lower one on each side is a caged nut.

Kube- thanks for the info, as soon as I read I remembered how the
fenders came off.
