Default 29 Tudor Upholstery Question

Well, here I am again! Attacking the upholstery project and I have another question.

I am installing the rear corner panels and I noticed that the fabric is not laying flat against the contour of the cardboard. I have not glued the fabric to the cardboard outer faces, I only applied glue to the rear of the panels where the fabric folds around the edge and attaches to the rear of the cardboard. I made a jig to hold the panel in the curved position while attaching the fabric.

Should I have lightly applied spray glue to the cardboard where the fabric attaches to the panel in order to hold the fabric to the contour?

Looks like you are done but will relate what I did. I first cut it to shape then lightly sparayedit with water to get it slightly damp the stapled it in place and let it dry overnight. When I took it out it kept it,s shape and was easy to put on the fabric.
