Default 1940 Mercury green paint

I'm trying to locate a name or code for a 1940 Mercury green paint. A car with this paint is shown on Spud's Garage recent sales site. Beautiful convertible! I don't believe it is Yosemite green. Thanks in advance for any help in identifying it. Dave

That's a good possibility. It's interesting that most paint chip chart that I have found on the net don't include this color. They show Acadia , Yosemite, and CMG as the green offerings. Thanks for the input.

its a good possibility its not a factory color. you could go to the paint store, look through all the paint chips and try to match it. im going through the same thing right now trying to match a 41 Mercury Cotswold gray. everything I find is too light or too brown. no such luck finding the formula.
