Is there a trick to removing the exhaust pipe on a 1936 Club Cab without taking the front of the car apart

No tricks. What is your exact problem? Removal should be pretty much straight forward.

Looks like I have to remove the grill and radiator to get the exhaust pipe off and put the new one on

A Sawzall will do the job to take off the old one. The new one should go on without removing the grille and radiator.

If still there, you may have to remove one or both of the engine splash pans.

Already removed the passenger side splash pan. I know i can use a Sawzall to get the old one off but there is not enough room to twist and turn the new one in through the frame

I don't see anyway to go through frame on the bottom or fish it through the top. To long going through the top and can't get the flange and crossover portion through the frame on the bottom

I had to remove the radiator on my 37 Ford to get the front Passager side exhaust pipe to go in. Little bit of work it will fit.

When I did my 41 pickup, I didn't think I could finagle it all in, but it went in without any disassembly. Geometry in real life.

When I removed the passenger side exhaust pipe out of my 36, I jacked the front end up
and put jack stands under the front of the frame. With the weight of the front axle and wheels, the spring sort of relaxed and provided an opening between the top of the spring and the bottom of the frame crossmember. At that point I was able to fish the pipe through the opening. Sorry I had to revise this post, but I had changed the exhaust quite some time ago. Good luck Bob, and I hope it works for you.

Cut it where you can weld it back together after its in place and bolted up.

I'm glad I had the body off when I did my exhaust. LOL

If you cut the pipe , make a piece that’ll slide over the piece so weld will be easier . Inside will work also if concerns about look .

Did you have success? I’m currently in the same predicament with my ‘38!
Does it help to remove the starter??

It looks like the passenger side exhaust y pipe requires cutting to facilitate installation as apparently it won’t fit otherwise.
For those who have cut and welded the passenger side y pipe, where did you make the cut?
A few inches from the manifold flange or near the middle of the exhaust pipe run?
