Default Has anyone used Pete's pistons in their Burtz block?

Has anyone bought John Cosper's 283 style pistons for their Burtz engine? They are made for standard Model A rods and piston pins. He has them in stock.............no waiting. His price is $300.00 a set which includes, four 283 style standard size pistons, four piston pins with snap rings, four ring sets and all shipping and handling charges. He can be reached at 505-440-1280.

Without knowing anything about the quality of Pete’s, I would think after making a substantial investment you should follow the advice of the manufacturer. Take no chances ! Wayne

I called John Cosper today and he said that his 283 style pistons are made by Egge to his specifications.

They are a modified Olds piston that he has modified to his specs. The only thing is
they are real heavy. Otherwise a good looking piston.
