Default Mac's antique auto parts

If Mac's and Eckler went out of business, why do they keep sending emails?

They are not out of business. Yes, they have a new owner. Yes, things have changed. But, to my knowledge, they are still in business. New owner fired many staff members and closed Cartouche Upholstery. Past that, Mac's still exists.

Back in the Summer I ordered a Cartouche sample card and twice someone tried to contact me to see if they could help me. It seemed strange that just a couple months later they were out of business.

If they are not out of business, why have they not clarified the issue with their customer base ? Their lack of communication is less than impressive! Wayne

I called a few weeks back and anything I wtd was out of stock. Was hung up on 2x and the disorganization was enough to never call again.

Business cant be run this way....... use one of the other vendors.

No question they appear to be on life support....... just not "out of business" as some have suggested. Hang on to see how the next chapter unfolds.

Not to hijack the thread but what are some of your favorite vendors? Brattons has been my "go-to" place.

MAC's is certainly not my "go to vendor" but they do (did) carry items that the other vendors could or did not supply.

I was very much the exception at Macs and never had a problem. My go to supplier that I have found outstanding is Snyder’s. Wayne .

Third Gen Automotive in McMinnville, TN. THE BEST customer service I have ever had, at any place I have ever shopped in my 42 years of life. Product knowledge there is beyond incredible.

I would like to mention Tam's Model A, good people and good service. We are very lucky to have so many great vendors!

I've used just about all of the above in the last two months. No complaints but Mike's was a little iffy during their move, a difficult time for them. Phone service
problems, etc. It's understandable. I was very impressed with Snyders and C.W. Moss. Both have a good selection and they both went the extra mile on excellent packaging. I liked the website at C.W. Moss, the history story and I'm glad the company is now back in the family.
