They show-up here in the "SWAP MEET" section on occasion, as well as eBay, etc. But Mac VanPelt (click on the link BELOW) is a long-time FordBarn member and expert on these old Ford transmissions. He has a huge inventory of new/used parts and has a rebuilding service, also. Call and ask for Mac. Coop

Are you talking about the output shaft in the trans, or a drive shaft?

An "OUTPUT" shaft is technically called a "MAIN SHAFT"....the same shaft that the yoke slides onto. Coop

The trans output shaft is what I’m hunting for.

Those YOKES have become extremely hard to find. It's been said that an early, cast-iron Powerglide yoke (16-spline) will fit, but no guarantees on that one. Coop

The application is going from a ‘39 trans to a 9” rear. It’s in a ‘33 coupe.
The eBay link posted above looks like the goods.
Wishful thinking but it’d be nice to find a complete adapter & shaft, yoke, seals & all.
If not, I can piece it together.

Mac (Mac VanPelt) is likely going to be the only source that MIGHT be able to supply you with a complete package like that. Coop

I think you sent me a pm, my box is pretty full so it might not take messages till I delete some. I have a complete trans with that setup and maybe the back and shaft. I can look if you still haven’t found one.
Let me know ….
Thanks

Larry, yup I sent you a pm & text unless your cell # changed. Yes when you get a chance, check out what you have & let me know.
Plus, I know where you live & there’s a good Pizza place nearby.
