Re: Loveland Meet
If any folks need parts, call Steve at Bert's Model A (303-293-3673), and Steve will deliver the parts to Loveland. Small repairs can be completed on site, "The Forge" will allow the use of their shop for larger jobs. Sorry you missed the trip.

Re: Loveland Meet
Just heard the weather forecast....record temps slated for Colorado starting tomorrow.
Take plenty of coolant, sunscreen and more than one ice chest............

Re: Loveland Meet
We're leaving Saturday morning at 4am headed that way. It'll be over 110 heat index in Texas... should make for an interesting trip there.

Re: Loveland Meet
Here is a pic of our 2 GMCs so you can stop us for a chat, some bench racing or maybe an arm wrestle or a spitting contest!

Re: Loveland Meet
That's a disgrace driving GMC,s to a Ford meet < Tell everyone you are from Aussie ?? Pikes peak , been up there in an A , The late Len Hoyland & myself . before it was all sealed , only came 3rd as was told no racing ? yeah right ?? Len & I had a great time in the loaned 31 roadster, watch the altitude its a killer, The AZ boys having vapour locks & claim 15 wooden pegs does not work , Well that's cause they have them upside down , or non stock fuel lines >

Re: Loveland Meet
Diane has angina so they advised her not to go up there. So I stayed down too to keep hrr company.
Had a great lunch with 3 litres of Sangria so not sure if we can stand up again yet! Choice of Vehicles was GMC or Mopar. Dodge caravans are a bit smaller. Are they using dolly pegs or clip ons. Dollies should work on an old car but clip-ons might be too modern. SAJ not in NZ |

Re: Loveland Meet
We are in a gorgeous palatial homestead on a lake in Greeley. Will be in Loveland later today to sign in. Waiting for 3 more Kiwis to arrive from the airport.
We met you last visit and sat next to you on a bench at the Le May place I think. Look forward to seeing you again. Have not heard about a meeting place yet, but Bob Beers "VICKY" on here made some suggestions and said there may be a posting on the message board to look out for. SAJ (not) in NZ |
