This is a couple of original pictures of the original owner (Claire M. Doret)of my 31 Deluxe Coupe. Sold new in Los Angeles, CA. Purchased on June 9, 1931 and named "Suzan". She also worked for a dentist (Dr. E. Meyers) and had a patent on a tooth study model. I am the third owner and have the original sales documents and pink slip.

Look closely at the front of the fender and on early 30 fenders, the bead that runs along the side of the fender extends across the front. Later fenders have the bead stop just at the curve around to the front.

I THINK that picture is Nadine Jansen.I'm not sure because the only other pictures of her I've seen didn't have that many clothes on.I have a german mechanic friend that has a calendar that features her.It has hung on his toolbox for years.

That is who I thought it was in the picture.I showed my friend the picture.I thought he had the old calendar on his toolbox because he liked the looks of the woman.Turns out they were born in the same city in Germany,he was just born 20 years earlier.He was here in the states when she was born.

Most people know these Model 'A' Fords are natural Chick Magnets so being the nice guy that I am, I let the girls hang out with my Tudor and even let them work on it occasionally. But I had to draw the line and end it when I caught one of them sitting on the hood. Most of you probably run into similar situations with Model 'A' groupies. A burden we all carry owning these cars.

These pictures were taken of my 1930 Tudor back around 1990.

Yes, I checked the whole thread. I felt old when someone questioned eye brow fenders and my Dad had owned an A with them many years ago. While I chuckled at many comments and raised an eyebrow occasionally at “content”, threw up once because of “content”—I absolutely busted out laughing at Lanny’s photo. Thanks everyone!
