Default Model A won't start

I finally got around to starting the Model A last weekend and I'll be danged it wouldn't start. It would crank over, but no fire. What the heck? it was running fine when put away last fall. I was just about to start troubleshooting when I spied the gas gage was reading below zero. My grandkids had been playing in the car last fall, which was fine with me, they're 6 and 4 and one of them must have turned on the gas shutoff valve and over the winter the gas drained from the tank. No real harm done, just a lot of cranking and swearing before I figured out the problem. Put in a couple gallons and it fired right up. Good to go !

They may have done you a favor by letting the old gas out though probably not a safe thing to do.
