Drained the radiator
So I figured I would drain the radiator since the car has sat for at least 10 years. I wasnt having any issues (that i know of) but since i had to get new hoses i figured now is a good time. So right now all the hoses are off. Do i just stick the garden hose in and let it run through for awhile? Anything else i need to do?

Re: Drained the radiator
Flush it from the bottom several times. Just hold a rag around the hose until the radiator fills.
Also give the block a good flushing. I usually remove the side hose housing so I can get a flex cable [ piece of old speedo cable] in there using a drill motor. |
