Default pix of 31 2-dr sedan rear wheel wells please

My 31 two door sedan had the wheel wells cut out before I got it. I don't know what these should look like, so...

Would someone please post pix of what these inner panels look like?

I've not found any patch panels for two door sedans on line. They seem to be available for all the roadsters, phaetons, etc.

My plan is to just make flat panel patches but maybe I'm missing something.

OR; will any of these other patch panels work?

I'm not so naïve as to believe that they will just fall into place, but if I need those beads in my panels maybe I would be better off modifying a patch panel made to fit something else.

Anyone make their own and can post pix?

b-t-w; this isn't a concours restoration. I just want to get this thing back together and be able to drive it. No one will ever see this unless they are really looking hard.

WOW!!!

189 views and no pix. I know you guys/gals are the world's best with Model A's, but I guess you'd rather drive them than photograph them.

Honestly I don't blame you though. I'd much rather be driving mine than working on it.

Unfortunately, they are currently not available. In talking by phone with Bert's they tell me that the folks who used to make these are no longer in business. I think he said due to retirement. He also told me that he's had probably a hundred requests for them in the last month or two.

Their on-line catalog skips from A-70059 fender well patches - 1928-1931 roadster, to A-70061 fender well patches - 1928-1930 4 door sedans. Therefore there is no picture there that I can look at, thus this Ford Barn request for pix.

If I had a hard copy of their catalog I probably could see a pic.

I'm still looking for a picture of them so I can make my own. I realize that whatever I make will NOT look exactly like an original, but I'm ok with that.

b-t-w; I've looked at pix on C.W. Moss and Gaslight websites but I can't really see much in their photos. The other vendors that I'm aware of (and have perused their on-line catalogs) apparently don't offer them.

I've looked at all the catalogs that I have found on-line (see above). I'd really appreciate it if you could clue me in to a vendor that has a good pic. There are probably more vendors that I'm not aware of. I've looked at (and saved websites to my favorites) of all the Model A vendors that came up on my Google searches.

try Howell's sheet metal in Beaumont, Tx for pictures. DO NOT ORDER You should only buy from him at a swap meet where you can carry the product home. Lots of his stuff must be fitted to work and if ordered will not know when you will receive the goods
