Figured that would happen. This would have been the 19th year in a row my truck was there and my registration number (out of around 12,000) was #119.

I expect most car shows will be cancelled. I'm still holding out a little hope for the local museum car show in August but nobody can tell at this point where we will be by then.

I have heard from several people (some in very high places) that this will all be over in a few weeks.

This is sad. No, I had never been there but I always loved the utube videos of the event and lived vicariously through them. Thinking, some day...

That's interesting, 'cuz my "very-high-places" folks are thinking just the opposite, what with everyone SOOO antsy and becoming more and more lackadaisical about taking precautions, we may just end-up re-living this past two months if not worse, and I know of one tentative mad-man way down there toward Cuba that's REALLY gonna be pissed, and not fit for the kiddies to listen to. A little research on the use of the "rolleyes" emoji may be required here.

It's a shame that Back to the 50's was canceled, used to go whenever it didn't fall on fathers day weekend as I've been going to the LARS for 27 years. Hopefully these shows will be back next year?

You shouldn’t even go to the shows if they are still on at the moment

I hope they don’t cancel our Father’s Day show , it’s one of my favorite shows to go to in the summer. I imagine if it still is on people will be there in droves, rain or shine after being locked up for so long.
