Here is what I started as a list .
Does any one know if we can make a list of names that can be added to,and progress on the same list without going in as a Quick Reply.

Bill, that's a good idea as we will need to know just how many "Barner's" to expect in order to have enough food for the Sunday BBQ. Also, an early indication might give me some leverage negotiating a special rate at the hotel (I haven't done that as yet). Oh yeah, add me to the list...

Phil, that's excellent, we will be visiting a friends garage (filled with "T's" and earlier Fords) on Friday, February 28th. Most likely he will be going on the "T" tour as well. We'll miss you at the BBQ but we'll have a blast on Friday & Saturday. If you need a place to keep the "T" overnight, I've got garage space. Vic

Phil, I will be making hotel arrangements in the near future, usually I get a hotel just off of I-75 at SR 54, about 17 miles from my house. Once I have that nailed down I'll post the info. I have secured a "special" rate for rooms at the hotel located at 27615 Wesley Chapel Blvd. (SR-54). The hotel has changed ownership and is now an Econo Lodge. To get the discount rate you must identify yourself as a member of the Cigar City Flatheads. The phone # for the hotel is:813-907-1379. The room rate is $79.00 per night.

Hi Jerry, you are most welcome to attend in your '40 or your "A" or even a Toyota... Driving a Flathead is not a requirement. What part of North Georgia are you from? My mom lives in Sautee-Nacoochee, just outside of Cleveland, Georgia. Every year we (the Cigar City Flatheads) drive up to Dawsonville for the Moonshine Festival in October. Bill it's not 11am yet, and I've been to a nice flea market and spent $$ on some sound deaden-er for the 40, oh yea it's up to 70, and a high of 80 today, you guess. I didn't have to shovel to get out of the driveway, heck I didn't even scrape the W/S. Gasoline is $3.20, need I say more, see you at the bash or maybe sooner! Tell your wife they have fireballs down here too!

Bud, I'm looking forward to meeting you and finding out about Ivan's '37 Coupe. He had some beautiful V8's, I met him in 1975 at a car show in Nassau County, he had driven his '41 Woody to that show. I was publishing a magazine at the time called Part Finder. We went out to Ivan's and did a photo shoot of a bunch of his cars. Just before I moved from LI to Florida in '92, the LIRG gave me a surprise party, as part of it, we drove out to Ivan's place. He was a good friend and he really knew his Flatheads.

Well I suppose everyone has a bucket list, mine contains a year to make this event in a flathead, most likely my 40 pickup. Won't be this year, I wish all of you guys and gals a great tme and if any of the girls that are riding in JM's 35 sedan actually show up I am really going to be kicking myself in snowy cold upstate NY. A goal for me is 2015 to drive that old pickup down and back. Now I just have to get back in the barn and keep chipping away at it.

Bill, Vic, My knee replacement recovery is on track. I am walking on my own and driving an auto trans. I am still hoping to be there, but we'll see? It's been 4 wks since the surgery.

Bill, this Saturday I should be able to nail down several of the local Hot Rod guys (some with Flatheads and some not) to get them to commit to attending the Florida "Barner's Bash". I'll let you know.

Bill, I just got back from the Hot Rod Breakfast, there were a few new faces there and I mentioned the Cigar City Flatheads Florida "Barner's Bash" to everyone. There is a lot of interest but, trying to get a firm answer from these guys is like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall. Suffice it to say, we will have a significant turn out for the event for all three days.

He let me know that he will be attending the Cigar City Flatheads 2014 Florida "Barner's Bash", so you can add Wayne D. to the list. I don't think he'll be driving his '36 Roadster down from Long Island, but I'm going to volunteer to fly up and drive it down for him...
