My steering wheel lock key is so worn that I dare not lock it as It just won't unlock anymore. I have seen some blanks listed for 1940 ...Same key?

Mac's sells Hurd blanks for about $5 each. But you may want to inquire about the shipping first.

It's possible the cylinder may be worn as much as the key.

Leon Rowell is also a member here, "lockdoc", and does very good work at a reasonable price.

I believe the last blanks I bought came from either Carpenter or Drake.
