1946 PU Grill Guard
What is correct for the 1946 Ford Pick up for a Grill Guard? My new grill can use some parking lot protection.

Re: 1946 PU Grill Guard
The one that was on the 46 truck we used to use for Hershey and other fleamarkets was made of probably 3/8 flat stock with 9/16 bars, the bars mimicked the grille bars and there were loops of the flat stock to protect the headlights ---it was heavy and strong, it never got tested, just looking at it would prevent other drivers from getting too close. ---there were bars angled back to the frame through the grille for braces, the lower ends attached to the bumper braces
