Default headlight bar patch

Greetings to all and I hope you're all safe.
I am working on a 1931 fender that needs a patch panel where the headlight bar is attached. I have the patches and they have indentations in them (dimples). Can anyone tell me if the front end of the patch tilts up or down?
Any help is much appreciated.

I've got the bar off my '30 Sedan currently.
I just went and looked, the deeper side of the depression is clearly tilted towards the rear of the car if that's what you're asking.

That's exactly the info I needed. Thanks for that. Now back to work.
