Default 30-31 wheels in 28-29 Wheel Wells

Did Ford revise the Wheel Well of the 28-29 Front Fenders to fit the new 30-31 wheels between November 1929 thru May 1930 on Commercial type vehicles such as the Open and Closed Cab Pickups?

Thanks.

One of the guys in our club has a 28 CCPU with 19" wheels/tires. He seems to not have a problem.

I know as a general rule that many times the Goodyear tires will fit in wheel wells where Firestones are too wide to fit.

I know where you are coming from on this however from my experience over the past 50 years, the Firestones will fit an original welled fender without releasing air. If one doesn't, then it is because someone incorrectly installed the well. The Firestone tires that are offered today are just a minute size smaller than what was originally equipped on the 1929 Taxis and the 150 A/B Station Wagon. Even though the 135A never was equipped with a well as standard, owners back then never had any issues with a 4.75-21 or a 5.00-19 tire fitting in the respective wells.
