The problems we have experienced on our Summer Tours where there are 20-30 Model A's traveling through various parts of the country have been vapor locking. Some one pointed out that in Colorado you can only get ethanol fuel. The other thing they do there is drop the octane down. Going up to premium use to have the least amount of ethanol but last time through that wasn't the case. Adding Marvel Mystery oil or Automatic Transmission Fluid to the fuel stopped the vapor locking on our last trip.

The ethanol adultrated gas has got to be tuff for the dealerships and used car lots where the cars sometimes have to sit for months before they are sold.
