Default 1940 ford shop manual

Can anyone recommend a shop manual for that I can refer to when doing repairs on my 1940 ford pickup. Thank you for your help.

One that is excellent is the 1939 and 1940 engine & chassis repair manual available from many of the Ford venders.

The best one for all around shop work is the Canadian Ford based 1932 through 1941 Ford and Mercury Service Handbook or shop manual. These manuals have a lot more information than anything that Ford Dearborn put out. They have near 250 pages and a lot of included reference information. This is what the one I have looks like but there are others that look similar and include the same information. https://www.amazon.com/1932-1941-Ser.../dp/B0019M6E0S

This is another one: https://www.factoryrepairmanuals.com...l-shop-repair/
I think this one was put out by Ford Dearborn after the war but I'm not sure when it was reproduced in the US.
