Default Popular Science article about the Model A Ford

This 1954 article from the Popular Science Archives recognizes the Model A Ford as the unique vehicle that it is. Go to page 172.

From March 1949 Popular Mechanics, one can buy a rebuilt Model A engine for $107 outright or $87 exchange plus $5.00 crating charge.

Oh, and look at the price of (used) tires, in the ad just above.

Glancing through the article online, it seemed vaguely familiar - so I searched my harddrive a bit and discovered that I apparently bought a copy off of ebay almost exactly 5 years ago...now I've just gotta figure out where I put the thing...

Read the article and found it to be very interesting. I never would have imagined that someone in 1954 could wax so poetic about a then twenty something year old car. 90's cars are now twenty something years old and frankly, I have no nostalgia for them at all.
