Default '29 Briggs Fordor Front seat...Back Too Low?

When I installed the Labonney Baron upholstery kit in my 1929 Briggs standard fordor I didn't have a front seat. The disassembled parts I had weren't right and were believed to have come from an open car.

Labonney Baron recommended one of their employees that moonlighted might build me a seat from his parts, plus new springs and I welcomed the chance. This was in 1996 and the seat cost me right at $700 less freight but it was and still is beautiful.

It bolted up right into the original seat slide and is very comfortable but....the seat back has always seemed low. Several others have commented on it also. In every other way it fits perfectly so the way it sits must be right.

Would someone please post a picture of their correct Briggs front seat from a side vies so I can compare?

Briggs made several different Fordor front seats and built several Fordor models in 1929. Since you say "Standard Fordor" am I correct in assuming it's a 165-B three window Fordor?

If you can post a pic or two I may be able to tell what you have.
