Default 1929 panel delivery79A interior color

Was wondering does anyone know the correct color that was used on the rear interior of a 1929 panel truck? It looks to me like the old Ford tractor grey(like the 8N had) on some of my pieces. Thanks Jay [email protected]

The old pyroxyline coated material does some interesting color fades. I'm surprised it didn't end up with a strong greenish hue. The original was Spanish brown colonial grain artificial leather with Spanish brown colonial grain cardboard on the doors (and a few other places).

Oops! I should read the questions better!!!

Grey is correct. I had a 79A for 36 years. Restored it in the 70's. Original interior paint was a grey without any blue tinges.

My 79A (early '30) had green for the interior paint color (both the cabin and cargo areas). The attached pictures show this original paint.

Neil , thanks for the photos they actually answered a few other questions I had. Was there any angle iron used on top of the subrails to hold the floor structure to the subrails? Mine has angle iron there and I did not know if that was correct. If you have any floor and rear doors inside and out pictures I would sure apppreciate any. I am sorta putting togather a basket case but I think it is pretty complete, except the vertical exterior seam mouldings at the side panel to rear corner panels. Is anyone make this trim or something close that you know of? I also have some AA trucks I beleive I bought a Warford overdrive from you a few years back .Thanks Jay. [email protected]
