This was at 8:30 am. It was in the back field near that back gate. They were loading it into the buyers trailer. It was in old grey primer I believe and I heard someone say it went for $4500

I talked to you about your farm wagon. I Said I had saved some T wagons but liked your a wagon. You said it was a kit. Very cool!

Also saw that head with magneto in the building. Good buy!

Not A specific but Found a great KR Wilson tool for cutting the valve pockets in flathead heads. It's actual purpose is for opening the pockets so you can use earlier heads on later engines, but I plan to use it for fly cutting the valve areas on a head that has been decked.

I also am happy I came home with a 1931-32 Lincoln K dash. I have a dash fetish. I bought the bare dash, and as I was walking around with it, someone else came up to me and said they had a decent insert in a butchered dash. Perfect!

If you do that, be prepared to pay 50-75% more...I picked up parts for 1/2 to 2/3 what I've seen on fleabay. I cant wait till next year!

Swap meets are nice as you can see what you purchase, but with the price of motels and gas, they can be pretty pricey if you live a ways away for them. With eBay, you can't see the item in person, but can ask questions before bidding. I have been stung a few times on eBay, but probably less than 1% to 2% of the items I purchased. I agree, that prices at swap meets are typically better and you can bargain, but it is kind of a hit and miss proposition. I like to do both.
