Default 1929 Model A Tudor Windshield removal

Needing to replace the windshield glass on my 1929 Model A Tudor. Any special tricks or suggestions? What is the best way to remove the glass without damaging the frame?

I used PB Blaster to soften the glass setting and the take the frame apart. Used a couple of whacks with a rubber mallet too.

After removing the machine screws in the upper corners, I lay the windshield frame with the glass installed down on my workbench with the glass on short lengths of wood that are thick enough to lift the frame clear of the bench. Using a rubber mallet and a 1x2 inch length of hardwood, I gently tap on the inside edges of the frame to break it loose from the seal. Sometimes it will come loose easily, other times it will take more patience, working around the frame in both sides. On occasion, I have sprayed a lubricant into the seal to help break it loose. I am also replsing my font windshield. All has gone well, just waiting for the new glass to get here. The setting tape your speaking of is the same cork tape I used for my door glass?
