Default "60 Minutes" to air a piece on "Top Gear"

With American TV such a wasteland, I go to the BBC for entertainment. Now American TV goes to England to see why "Top Gear" is such a worldwide phenomenon.

All I know is; He's called The Stig!

Did you ever see their tribute to the Toyota Hi-Lux pickup? They did some sick stuff to one, but it refused to die. You can see why the Taliban chose it as their official vehicle :-)

love that show!! Shady british humor and all. Honestly im always impressed with the amount they must be spending on the production of that show. They are all over Europe and beyond in some episodes.

What he said! Me too! Wife can't stand it! It's not politically correct! They actually have fun with cars! I loved the episode where the raced a Buggatti (VW) Veyron against a Cessna 172 from France. Capt. Slow (James May) was the pilot. Great Show!

Since POLITICS is so self-serving and corrupt, wouldn't being "NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT" be a GOOD THING?

Red Green is a show I haven't seen in years.

Quando omni flunkus moritati

Top Gear is one of the best shows on TV, IMO. Very funny, with cars as props. Australia also has had it's own version as well for the last three years, not as polished as the UK version, but still very watchable.

There must be a lawsuit in contemplation somewhere. 60 minutes gets a lot of its material from trial lawyers looking for publicity (and getting it).

Got to appreciate the Brits sense of humor. It's nice to see folks really enthused over cars. I've found the American shows seem to be infomercials.
