Re: EFV8CA 2013 Grand National
John, you can certainly request a vanity registration number. I'd advise to call Mike Sanders with that request. (Find his number at the bottom of the flyer on the Schedule Page.) I missed out on my own number 38 because someone from Florida already got it by the time I talked to Mike.
Oops! Mike's number is also on the Contact Us page...Duh!

Re: EFV8CA 2013 Grand National
I'll probably promote this to it's own thread, but in the meanwhile:
I want to attend the 2013 meet, but don't want to either trailer or drive my car. Too far to drive and too tedious/uncomfortable/expensive to trailer it. I'm working on a project to provide enclosed dedicated transport to and from the meet. The point of origin is Martinsburg Wv, destination Harrah's Lake Tahoe. The transport trailer can haul six cars; we have three confirmed participants, and a couple of other maybe's, so we have open spots for two or possibly three cars. The price at today's fuel costs is $2750 per car round trip. If you do the math, you'll see it really isn't that much more money than trailering, plus 5 days out and 5 days back which can be added to vacation time in Lake Tahoe. Then too you can put your personal luggage in the car and avoid airline baggage fees. The carrier is a reputable one with proper insurance. I know this will appeal to a limited number of attendees, but if you want to be included on updates or further info you can call me at 410-343-1117. Henry |

Frenchy, I think they might have a "modified" class, check on the EFV8 Club web site for info. Vic

Re: EFV8CA 2013 Grand National
Frenchy, as long as you are an Early Ford V-8 Club member you are welcome to attend the meet. The meet is all about the 32-53 flathead cars, but many have modifieds that they drive and bring to the meets. In order to participate in the events you need to register for the meet and be a member of the V-8 Club.

Re: EFV8CA 2013 Grand National
Frenchy, Join the National Club. Just getting the V8 Times is worth the price of admission. Joining a regional group is also a good idea. Then hopefully you sign up for the 2013 GNM. I think you will really enjoy this meet. I, and many others, would really enjoy meeting you and also having the opportunity to see your Lincoln powered roadster. The EFV-8C/A definitely has a category for your car on the show field.

My wife takes care of this. I would be lost without her. She just increase my allowance so I can buy some goodies for my Junkers
