Mike,
Dennis Carpenter has a mount kit in stock that comes with instructions that would show the placement. Their is a picture of the assortment of pads.

See if this works, it says 42 to 48 but the basic body should be the same on 41.

I had a time finding rubber mounts for my '41 fordor. should be the same as a tudor & possibly a coupe. anyway when I got them basically none really matched what I had on the car. Had to juggle them around to get the right combo of style, thickness etc.

If you don't have this book you need to get it, lots of good info, one of the first things I bought when I got my '41 coupe.

Had the same problem with my 39 tudor. Kit was about 90% accurate. If you change your mounts consider buying the bolt kit as many will not come out easy. Mark

I bought the bolt kit too, but many were not the right length/amount needed,
Had to”juggle around” as Fordor41 did with mounts, and still ended up going to the hardware store for a few. Bolts that is.

I bought the book.. I gave it to my friend who has a 41 fordor..

Although it has some cool info.. it was not as detailed as I hoped it would be..

Now I must ask, should I replace all the body mount pads on my 47? Do they make them in Urethane?

my doors fit fine before changing the body mounts and after they are low by 1/2 inch. this is on a 39 tudor. waiting to get the engine back in before trying to correct. Mark
