Default 1934 Roadster Package Tray

Was the 34 Roadster wood Package Tray stained like the floorboards or was it left the natural wood colour?

At least some of them were stained or treated with a black sealant based on those I've had over the years. But, given that the tray is hard wood compared with the soft wood of the #1 floor board and battery cover in '33-'34 V-8s, it did not absorb the coating to the same extent.
