Default Model A Plaque Ideas for Presentations

This is somewhat off the beaten path of Model A'ing; however, suggestions would greatly appreicated. Our Club wants a Model A specific Plaque for a man who deserves some recognition. I've heard of people mounting an Ahooga Horn and inscribing suitable words. Any ideas for sources and such would be greatly appriciated.

What about a plaque or a plate topper? Something to bling his buggy instead of a wall.

Could mount a dash panel on a piece of wood where you could inscribe something.

I've always liked radiator badges. The more you earn, the hotter you run!

Thumbs up Re: Model A Plaque Ideas for Presentations

When I was Vice President of our local MAFCA chapter, I had the pleasure of serving with a very talented gentleman and WWII veteran when he acted as our club President.

Cal took the time, care, and genius, to use a Hubley die cast model of my car - a 30 Deluxe Coupe, cut in half, painted it the exact body colors - wheels and all, and mounted it on a wood base and personalized it with my name - office etc.

I truly treasure this item and the time I had with this gentleman and ACE B-25 Mitchell pilot. Unique and specific to the individual that is to be honored - true American ingenuity! Thanks again Cal for your service to our country and the world of Model A Fords.

Be well -

SHEC

That is truly a treasure!!!
Your dad must have been an exceptionally tallented machinist.

I think if I had 4 I would be forced to build a running scaled down A. Good thing you only have one or you would have too

A topper is seen by many whereas a plaque is seen by far less! Wayne
