Ford Service/Award Parts Pin?

I think this is some sort of Ford Award pin, possibly for years of service in the parts department or for the parts department manager.

Can anyone provide information as to what it was awarded for, and the time frame when it was awarded such as the 50s, 60s, 70s etc. I found it at Iola in 2002 and it is the only one I have seen. It is about the size of a dime, is 10K gold, and has a diamond inserted. I have not seen another or any information about it, does anyone have any information?

It's probably an award for meeting a sales goal or something like that. I was a Ford Parts Manager for a few years in the 70s & 80s and would attend the regional meetings. We'd get awards, pins, plaques etc for a variety of things, I have a few but none like that one.

Thanks, that is what I assumed. I worked for a Chevy dealership parts department in the early 60's and they too had service pins, but I did not work there long enough to get one.
