Default more on bearing clearances

There is a lot of discussion on here about engine bearings, oil clearances, bearing materials, surface finish, etc., etc. I found a very interesting/informative site written by an engineer at King Bearing Company so I decided to start a new thread so anyone interested can check it out: substech.com/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=enginebearings Then click on: Engine bearings [SubsTech]

Are you sure that is a good link? Is this the link you are referencing?

That's the same guy but your link is different. Apparently he has another company called SubsTech where I found much more info. I'm not real swift on computers so once I found the link I have to type it in and do a search.

If you like to play around and design a bearing to see what different values and materials do you can get the ENSIM program from KING.
I think Subs Tech is more like a tech site for bearings then a company...The founder is working for KING.
Found he still does custom consulting work...So if your going for the records and donīt mind having a KING sticker on the side of the car...maybe thoose custom flathead bearings arenīt to far away...

Once you get on the page you want to reference, highlite the address window by right clicking on it, then copy and paste it into the posting page.
